Message from the Founder Chairman

Dr. Saleem Ullah Paracha
His friend and collaborator, Asad Maroof, Culinary Nutrition Chef, also brings a multidisciplinary professional background. In addition to experience across technical and IT fields, his principal and long-standing focus has been on Culinary Arts, Food Science, Culinary Nutrition, and the practical application of nutrition. His work addresses a critical gap between clinical or nutritional recommendations and everyday life: how scientific knowledge and dietary plans can be translated into real food, practical cooking, sustainable habits, and achievable daily routines.
Drawing upon Dr. Syed Sharjeel Ahmed’s creative and systems-based thinking and Asad Maroof’s focus on Culinary Nutrition and practical implementation, we established CNHDS as a framework designed to bring different disciplines together around one coordinated purpose. Rather than allowing professional expertise to operate in isolation, CNHDS connects areas such as Medicine, Nutrition, Culinary Nutrition, Psychology/Mental Health, and Physical Training so that individuals can move beyond diagnosis and advice toward practical, understandable, and sustainable lifestyle change.
I see the relationship between a physician and a Culinary Nutrition Chef not as two parallel professions, but as a bridge between clinical knowledge and daily-life implementation. The physician provides medical diagnosis, clinical direction, and appropriate treatment, while the Culinary Nutrition Chef helps translate relevant nutritional and health guidance into real food, practical preparation, and everyday application. When this collaboration is further supported by nutrition professionals, psychology, and physical activity, healthcare can evolve into a broader and more integrated Human Development System.
The vision of CNHDS is not limited to one individual, institution, or country. Our aim is to develop a scalable framework capable of supporting healthier lifestyles, disease prevention, improved recovery, responsible self-care, and long-term human development across different communities and cultures. We believe that the future of health will not be shaped only in hospitals and clinics; it will also be built through our homes, kitchens, habits, minds, bodies, and everyday decisions.
I see CNHDS as a collaborative journey in which Science, Medicine, Nutrition, Culinary Practice, Technology, and Human Development come together for a shared purpose: not merely to provide people with more information, but to transform knowledge into practical action for healthier lives.
It is a privilege to be part of the founding journey of the Culinary Nutrition Human Development System (CNHDS)—an integrated, human-centered framework built on the understanding that better health cannot be achieved through disease treatment alone. True and sustainable health requires the coordinated integration of prevention, appropriate nutrition, practical lifestyle implementation, mental and emotional well-being, physical activity, and lasting behavioral change.
The development of CNHDS has been shaped by two distinct yet highly complementary professional perspectives and creative minds. Dr. Sharjeel Ahmed, who was my student approximately thirty years ago, is an MBBS physician with a clinical medicine background and is also professionally engaged in Cybersecurity Engineering in the United States. This combination of medicine and advanced technology has enabled him to approach complex challenges with a systems-oriented, innovative, and forward-looking perspective.
